Love on the Spectrum‘s James has found himself at the root of off-screen drama. He introduced Shelley, his current girlfriend, to the end of the show’s third season, during a birthday barbecue. He dated several girls since joining the show, and a source has exclusively claimed to Reality Shrine James was going on dates when he met Shelley.
James was ‘still dating’ before meeting Shelley in Love on the Spectrum
James was allegedly still going on dates when he first started seeing Shelley before Love on the Spectrum, according to a source. The source said: “You morally don’t do that to people. His ex made an effort to counter the negative sentiment James received by defending him on various occasions, congratulating him, albeit without receiving a response.”
While they have not spoken since filming concluded, his former partner “wishes him all the best, as well as Shelley.” This ex has been left “hurt and done” as a result of the crossover, stating that she “genuinely liked” the guy when they met up previously for a date, but reiterated that they were never officially dating.
Reality Shrine has reached out to James and Shelley for comment.
Was there a crossover?
Shelley herself claimed she didn’t know James was seeing other people when they were dating, and cannot watch Love on the Spectrum season three for that reason as it is that it “breaks her heart just thinking about it”. Now, a source close to the show has alleged that there was a crossover between James dating Shelley and someone else he was seeing, just before filming began.
He was still going on dates when he’d first met Shelley, but since then, their relationship appears to have moved on – with the couple now discussing potentially moving in together. Shelley has previously said, “We started dating before the show, and he never told me he was seeing other people. He was inviting me to everything.”
