Joshua Jackson is sharing some very rare comments about his ex-girlfriend Katie Holmes.
If you didn’t know, the Dawson’s Creek co-stars, now both 46, dated during the early days of the show from 1998 until 1999 and continued working together until the show ended in 2003.
In a new interview, Joshua shared an update on where he currently stands with Katie and the other Dawson’s Creek stars.
Keep reading to find out more… “Busy [Philipps] and Michelle [Williams] are very, very close. And Katie and I are very close,” Joshua shared on the April 22 episode Jesse Tyler Ferguson‘s podcast, Dinner’s on Me.
The topic came up as Joshua discussed how the cast rallied together to support James Van Der Beek after he revealed he was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer.
He also noted that while he and his castmates don’t always keep in touch on the regular, their connection is strong.
“It’s not a daily call. Sometimes it’s not a weekly or monthly or even a half-yearly call,” Joshua said. “But when you’re together, A, there’s always that, like, I know you know.”
“And B, there is, you know, these moments, like, these major moments in life are, like, other than your husband, there’s probably no other people in your life that you are that forged to,” he continued. “Because you had to go through good and bad, and happy and f–k you, and don’t talk to me and I love you.”
Just recently, Busy said that she and Dawson’s Creek stars are working hard on trying to set up a reunion.
