People are researching names from their friends and loved ones’ pasts and mentioning them for funny videos. The reactions have been so funny!

“I’m so hungry, I could eat Tobias Wellen,” one woman said to her boyfriend in a viral video with more than six million views already. She captioned the clip, “Telling my boyfriend I’m so hungry that I could eat his friend he used to build legos with in middle school.” Watch that video HERE!

Not all of the videos have gone according to plan though.

Someone captioned their video, “Telling my boyfriend I’m so hungry I could eat a guy from his high school promo photo, but I didn’t realize he drowned.” The boyfriend responded, “My friend who drowned in the Spokane River back in 2008? Good luck.”

Oops!

So, how do you participate in the trend? And what are the rules?

First, dig into your friend or loved one’s past to find a random person who they were once connected to, but probably haven’t heard about in years. Check their old yearbooks, look through old Instagram or Facebook photos, or even ask other friends for suggestions on names to bring up. Once you figure out who to mention, it’s time to record your video. Try to keep a straight face, if you can!

Make sure to share the results!
